My tech free weekend.

I took a break from social media this past weekend. I signed out of facebook, twitter, and instagram. I took some time out for me, my family and my job. It was a wonderful weekend.

Here are some photos I managed to capture.

This was my announcement I made for going tech free

I worked on my granny square afghan and am almost finished. I had to get a second one pound skein of yarn to finish this project.

In the home stretch. half of the threads have been sewn in and once it is complete, I will sew the rest and add a border.

My husband and I went to brunch on Saturday. The mall and then to a thrift store followed by dinner. The whole family had a pretty fun day.

Found this vintage pitcher at the local thrift store. It is almost like the one my grandma had when I was little. I made sure to buy it.

I've been wanting a single cup coffee maker for a while, since some days, I am the only one drinking the coffee. I used to have one like this, but got rid of it years ago. Luckily I was able to find the one above for just 4 dollars at the thrift store.

My Social Media free weekend was really fun. I even met up with my new crochet group. I would not change it for the world, and may start signing out more often on weekends in the future.

How was your weekend? Have you gone tech free yet?
